API & automation

Conex data in your own systems

Developers can use the Business API and receive signed webhooks for new orders, status or payment changes, and new messages. Teams that don't write code can use Google Sheets data links, Apps Script templates, or sample events for Make, Zapier, and n8n.

What it is

API, webhooks & Google Sheets

The Business API gives you programmatic access to your business data with keys you create yourself. Webhooks notify your systems when something important happens, and data links feed tables into Google Sheets with no code.

Who it's for

  • Developers connecting Conex to internal systems
  • Ops teams tracking orders in Google Sheets
  • Businesses using Make, Zapier, or n8n
  • Businesses that want to bulk-update stock from their warehouse

  • Web onlySystem integrations are set up from the web dashboard, not the mobile app.

How it works

Step by step in the dashboard

Menu names match business.conex.chat (in Indonesian).

  1. 1

    Create an API key

In Integrasi › API & Webhook (Integrations › API & Webhooks), create a key with the scopes you need. The key is shown only once, so store it safely.

  2. 2

    Register a webhook

Enter the receiving URL and choose events: new order, status change, payment change, quote accepted, new review, or new message.

  3. 3

    Test delivery

Send a test or sample event, then check the delivery log and resend anything that failed.

  4. 4

    No code: Google Sheets

In Integrasi › Google Sheets & otomasi (Integrations › Google Sheets & automation), create a data link for orders, bookings, or products to use with =IMPORTDATA.

  5. 5

    Use a template

Copy a ready-made Google Apps Script template or n8n workflow.

Key settings

Key scopes
Each key has scopes that never exceed its creator's role permissions.
Events per webhook
Choose events for each URL. Every delivery is signed in the X-Conex-Signature header.
Logs & stats
Delivery logs, resends, usage stats, and key activity.
Data links
Filtered order, booking, or product datasets that can be regenerated or revoked at any time.

Limits & rules

Availability
The API and connectors follow your current plan settings; their status is shown in the Integrasi (Integrations) menu.
Usage limits
There are limits on active keys, webhooks, and requests per minute per key. Over the limit, requests are temporarily rejected with guidance on when to retry.
Bulk stock
Stock updates via the API are capped at 500 items per request.
Privacy
Data links exclude customers' phone numbers, emails, names, addresses, and notes; customers are represented by pseudonymous IDs.
Automatic revocation
Keys are revoked automatically if their creator leaves the business or loses permission to manage the API. New-message events are only sent to webhooks created by the owner.

FAQ

Questions about the API, webhooks & Google Sheets

Which events are sent via webhook?

New orders, order status changes, payment changes, accepted quotes, new reviews, and new messages.

How do I verify that a webhook really comes from Conex?

Every delivery is signed in the X-Conex-Signature header using your webhook secret, which is shown once when the webhook is created.

What happens if my server is down?

Deliveries are retried at increasing intervals. You can also view the logs and resend from the dashboard.

Is customers' personal data included?

Google Sheets data links contain no personal data. Customers are represented by the same pseudonymous ID used in the Business API.

Do I need to know how to code?

Not for Google Sheets: just paste the data link into an =IMPORTDATA formula. The API and webhooks are meant for developers.

Who can create API keys?

The owner, or admins with permission to manage the API. A key's scope can't exceed its creator's role permissions.

Can this be set up from the mobile app?

No. System integrations are set up from the web dashboard at business.conex.chat.

Where's the documentation?

On the Conex developer page; the link is in the Integrasi (Integrations) menu.
